At the age of 51 I found myself feeling completely wore out with an overall attitude that I was just living to die. I didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. I was gaining weight and really didn’t care. Years earlier I was very active, height / weight proportionate, Positive attitude and life was fun. I went to the doctor for a physical told him how I felt and he performed a thyroid and tes...

Depo=Testosterone is a synthetic (ie,alien to the human body) substance, and can be harmful. Was not doing a thing for me after several months 1ml every other week. I swtiched drs, who Rxd the bio-identical substitute from a compounding pharmacy, 250ml/mg once a week, and I had tremendous results within a couple of weeks. Also, I am confident, because the bio-identical is identical to what is in ...

I'm 35, male. Turned out i have a light testosterone deficiency, so i wanted to do something about it. My doctor suggested Testoviron. I got my first (and last) shot in the morning a few months ago. By that evening I had an emotional high, felt like I was in my teenage years again. The next day however i started to have pain in my right testicle. By the 3rd day the pain got worse and my sexdrive dropped to zero. Testicles felt light and empty. On day 4 i started to inject HCG to kickstart my own testosterone/sperm production again because I just felt like it stopped completely. HCG got me back to OK within 24 hours, pain was gone, libido came back. I consulted about this with my doctor (who gave me the shot personally) and I never touched testoviron again.Read More Read Less

Suffered with depression and sleep apnea for about 10 years. Became out of shape, unhappy, stressed out, using too many RX med's. Then quit my job, moved, and found out low T was a possible issue. Have had injections about 6 months now. Off one anti-depressant and almost off the other - done in a few weeks; able to work out at fairly strenuous level several times per week and enjoy it; still have the apnea but getting better sleep now too. Decent improvement with the sex function. 2 prior M.D.s talked me out of depo. Kind of bothers me to think that while depression was an issue, there may have been this other problem partially responsible for feeling bad.Read More Read Less

At the age of 51 I found myself feeling completely wore out with an overall attitude that I was just living to die. I didn’t want to go anywhere or do anything. I was gaining weight and really didn’t care. Years earlier I was very active, height / weight proportionate, Positive attitude and life was fun. I went to the doctor for a physical told him how I felt and he performed a thyroid and testosterone test along with the regular blood test. Thyroid was fine but my testosterone level was nonexistent. The doctor put me on Androgel and I had immediate results followed by an immediate fall off. The doctor kept increasing the dosage throughout the remainder of the year until I was using 4 pumps of the 1.62%. I was felling a whole lot better both mentally and physically. I actually felt like returning to the gym. The results of my blood work at the end of the year showed that the Androgel had gotten me close to the low normal range but still outside the numbers. He just switched me to the Depo injections and I am 3 months into it now and I can tell a notable improvement. My energy level has increased and I am now back in the gym wanting to work out. I can’t believe how much this stuff can change your life. I have also got an added benefit from this Depo shot. I find that it is an appetite suppressant. Not only is it an appetite suppressant but my cravings for sweets and junk food are completely gone. If I end up with cancer or heart disease that will be fine because that is where I was headed anyway before I started using it. I can’t wait for the next blood test to see if my cholesterol has dropped since I am now running the elliptical bike 3 time a week and weight training again. This stuff has given me my life back. This works great the first couple of days I have energy through the roof and feel like i can run miles. Then after about 4-5 days I feel tired and weak and just drained. I have made an appointment to speak with me doctor I believe I need a higher dose. But I have to say those 4 days are amazing and so worth it. This costs me about 24.90 for a two month supply from walgreens at 100mg a week. I definatly would recommend. I have also seen a vast improvement in the sex life.

I found out I had Klienfelter's Syndrom when I was 14, I have been taking 1cc every 7 days at home while injecting it into top legs, switching legs each week. I am now 44 years old. My erections have lasted and no need for Viagra EVER! My body is very healthy internal organs, liver, kidneys, bones, blood pressure ect. I used to have very short and small torso, long legs now after all these years, top torso filled out and my jackets are a 46 chest and Pants are 35, hardly work out in gym. I am very young looking for my age, as I mature physically about 7 years after normal. Read More Read Less

I have Klinefelter's Syndrome, a 47XXY, which requires HRT, Hormone Replacement Theraphy 24/7. I'm hoping the this drug will replace the old testosterone in cypionate and the transition will be smooth. I was using Androgel 1% 2-pumps, twice per day, but my spouse was concerned about the side effects that would affect her. So my Endocrinologist recommended Depo Testosterone instead.

In order to get the full therapeutic benefit of male HRT, let me just say that IM injections are the best way to go. I have tried the topical gel route (Androgel, Testim) with average results. I have also tried using those testosterone patches (Androderm) with poor results, as the patches will easily peel off of your skin if you sweat more than the average person does. The injection route is the most effective route to go. I was easily able to get over the fear of using needles by becoming educated by my physician on the correct way to inject the drug (He guided me on how to inject the drug into the buttock region, and into the lateral area of the thigh midway between the knee region and the pelvis region). Another word of advice is knowing what correct needle and syringe combination to use. Personally, I find that using a 22 guage, 1.5 inch needle with a 3cc case syringe is the best way to go. The bottom line is to get as educated as possible from your prescribing physician about the drug in general, and also how to CORRECTLY administer the drug.Read More Read Less

Using it to replace hormones in my body. I am transgender. It turned my body into what I wanted it to be. Gave me more strength and pulled me out of a massive depression.

I'm 49 and after being diagonsed with low T a little over 2 yrs ago my Dr. first put me on Androgel. (which worked just OK imho) I then asked about injections and he was happy to switch me to that a little over a year ago. I get 300 ml every 16 days and its a snap. My Dr.s office is a two min drive from my house and I can just walk in anytime and the nurse gives it to me. Anyway it has made a WONDERFUL difference in my well being and overall happiness in life. My engergy level is superb and I sleep better than ever now. Granted I work-out HARD 6 days a week but if I say so myself my body is more like that of a 25 yr old with lean hard muscle and very low fat. I get regular blood test to make sure all is good and contrary to what others have said I've had zero negative side effects and my "gonads" are the same size as ever. I believe all men age 40 and over should get their T levels tested just like PSA and if it's "low" search out a Dr. that is willing to work with you. IT WORTH IT! Read More Read Less

Wow, had low test. for a while, and my old idiot doctor said I didn't need it. Got a new doc and the replacement. What a difference. Agile and hostile in the best way possible. Feel like a young man again. Guys, if you're low, get it.
