This medication works well with minimal side effects. It mutes the pain levels down to a point where you can concentrate on daily activities without feeling "drugged".... There are two very important points to this medication that cannot be ignored without side effects. Overdosage: From all the blogs I've found, overdosage often results in sleeplessness. Headaches and stomach cramps are a...

I only gave one star, because iv never taken this medication. ( yet) Celebrex 200 mg for a year, I can get out of bed and be somewhat normal, but have not walk more then 50 yards without pain. ( L4-L5-S1-Hip problems) nine injectings over the three years all NSADS, PT twice. Can this be taken with Celebrex? Has anyone taken both together?

On November 22nd,2011 I suffered a seizure and almost died as a direct result of my Tramadol use. I writing this as a warning for those who may be considering using this medication without your Doctors specific directions. I was taking it as pain relief for degenerative disk disease, and bought it online without a prescription. If you decide to use it, you are placing your life in your own hands. I had read testimonials just like this from other people and dismissed them because I was simply foolish. These online "Pill mills" that sell this stuff without prescriptions should be outlawed. Given after tooth root canal, and crown prep. (Tooth was ground down to almost nothing and gums cut open) NEVER EVEN TOUCHED THE PAIN! Should have been given a sugar pills for $4.00 instead of this at $55.00!

I'm supposed to take 4 times a day. But felt so drugged, I only take 1. Helps get the handle on plantar faciatis & heel spur by doing the recommended stretches; i,e, walk on your toes, forwards & reverse. Too many pills make sleep impossible!

It barely takes the edge off....arthritis pain and degenerative disc disease....doesn't touch the nerve pain.

I have endometriosis and adenomyosis and I have pain in my lower stomach, rear end, lower back and pain in my groin that shoots down my legs. It hurts to go to the bathroom or when I have any gas moving. I was absolutely miserable until my doctor prescribed me ultram. I dont feel high when I take it and I am able to get out and do normal activities. If I didnt have this I would be stuck in the house every day. I have been only taking this medicine for a few months but I dont know what I'd do without itRead More Read Less

I began taking tramadol in 1/11 for pain from my arthritic back and hips. I only took it occasionally when my other 2 pain meds didn't take enough of the edge off to allow me to sleep. It made me feel really good - like I was high - and absolutely pain free. It is now 9/11 and I am turning in my remaining pills because I have begun to have serious side effects: severe nausea and vomiting, migraine headaches, and overall muscle weakness. I can't recommend this medication because of its side effects.Read More Read Less

Just started about a week ago after taking 11 years of 80mg Oxycontin. Weaned down to 20mg professionally by my Physiotherapist, which took the last 6 months, and now trying to replace Percocet 10.

My mother's doctor did not provide the needed warning about this medication in relation to my other conditions and she ended up with many other problems as a result.

I suffer from fibromyalgia and pelvic pain. After 4 surgeries I am still suffering from pelvic pain. They cant explain it. I take 1-2 Tramadol 4 times a day. It definatly eases the pain from the fibro. Tramadol is great for joint and nerve pain. Still trying to find something to help with the pelvic pain. Because of soooooo many people wanting to get "HIGH" off of pain pills, I cant get anything BUT Tramadol for pain. Was on Vicoprofen for years (on and off) for pelvic pain and that helped, but after so long doc said no more. Tramadol is a good drug for fibro.Read More Read Less
