This medication works well with minimal side effects. It mutes the pain levels down to a point where you can concentrate on daily activities without feeling "drugged".... There are two very important points to this medication that cannot be ignored without side effects. Overdosage: From all the blogs I've found, overdosage often results in sleeplessness. Headaches and stomach cramps are a...

I only gave one star, because iv never taken this medication. ( yet) Celebrex 200 mg for a year, I can get out of bed and be somewhat normal, but have not walk more then 50 yards without pain. ( L4-L5-S1-Hip problems) nine injectings over the three years all NSADS, PT twice. Can this be taken with Celebrex? Has anyone taken both together?

Took Ultram ER at about 8 pm. By midnight, I was itching like a monkey and the Ultram didn't make a dent in the pain. I'm not taking it again. I'd rather be in pain than itch.

Even though I only take 100 mg once a day, in the morning, I am dependent upon it and I go into withdrawal if I forget to take it. This was a real disappointment, as I switched to Ultram from opiates, hoping to avoid dependence.

I've been taking tramadol for about a week now. I've had chronic back pain for almost 10 years and I can honestly say I'm pain free while taking this medication. I take 50mg 3-4 times a day. My only complaint is it that it has made my sleep a little restless.

I have found that Ultram is not effective in controlling my pain due RA and other joint and muscle issues. I wish it were. I know people have had good success with it.

I needed something to take during the day so I could move around some as not to get to stove up. 50 mg have not touched the pain at all. I have had extensive back surgery and the pain is terrible sometimes. I take Darvocet in the evening before bed and that works wonders to help the pain as I am not trying to walk and move around. Cannot seem to find anything to help me during the day. Thank you

Recently I picked up something rather heavy and caused my Sciatic nerve to act up,well I went to a local clinic and was prescribed Methylprednisolone 4mg 21 tab pack which I think helped a little and Diclofenac Potassium 50mg tabswhich really hardly did nothing except scare me with all the risks in taking it.I have a friend at work who works out a lot and he buys his pain meds online one day he said here try this and gave me a tiny red and white cap called Ultram,I'll tell you this one a day and no freaking pain I can actually move without being in pain and sleep really good too.Read More Read Less

I have been taking this for the past 4 years. It helps me so much. It is so nice when a drug helps to make LIFE easy with the simple things in life we take for granted.

I was given this after spraining my foot. Im allergic to codeine so my doctor didnt want to take a chance with oxycodone since if youre allergic to one you could be the other. It helped with the pain but made me very sleepy ALL day. About 8 hours had passed and it still hadnt worn off. I tried eating something and I threw up soon after. Im hoping if I eat before it wont be as bad today...

I've had severe chronic pain for about a year now. I have OA, DDD, tendinitis, bursitis, and I suffer from depression and migraines. Fun! This drug should be pulled. I had a bad reaction from just one pill. I felt like my brain was firing off dynamite, yet so fatigued, I felt weak. I also had mental confusion. I'm on several drugs that are contradicted. I feel like the doctor is not treating my pain adequately. Why will they NOT treat my pain?? I'm not an addict, and I would never abuse something that would help for real. It is horrible. I was once given this for migraines when I first started getting them, but they didn't touch the pain whatsoever. I think it is the perfect "cop out" drug for docs that are so scared to presribe something that actually works. Easy for them. I pay the price.Read More Read Less

I don't have any side effect that i see mentioned by so many. This is the only med i am taking. My arm hurt so bad i could use it. Took two pills and felt great. I'm sitting at my computer humming. I wouldn't say i'm ecstatic. But i sure am in a good mood since taking this stuff. It tells my brain i feel no pain. The best part is that i feel in a good, positive happy state of mind. Absence of main helps my state of mind. I'm wondering about withdrawal. Although1 with arthiritis i'll probably take this stuff forever. If i don't have the side effects i wonder if i'll have the withdrawal problems. I'll go off it and see what happens. Only been on it for a week. But i haven't felt normal in over 30 years and i do now.Read More Read Less

It has helped for pain but makes me very sleepy. Wonder if that will stop after I am on it for awhile.
