I had a bleed on the brain, and was told that I needed this medication to keep the blood vessels open. I am so thankful for this medication because I am doing great and I am currently not on any medication.

Even though this medication has to be taken every 4 hours, this is the only drawback I have had. It's little trouble for all of the benefit I have recieved.

Unfortunately, this medication MUST be taken every 4 hours to prevent vasospasm. That was my only gripe about taking Nimodipine. I would recommend setting several alarms to take this medication on time. I took each dose at 8am, noon, 4pm, 8pm, midnight and 4am.
